Insulation Engineer L&T

Technical Expertise:

• Apply strong knowledge of various insulation types including hot, cold, and dual insulation.
• Understand PID and line schedules to determine insulation requirements accurately.
• Conduct inspections, modifications, repairs, and optimize the use of insulation materials.
• Manage reconciliation of insulation materials and scrap control.

Inspection and Quality Control:

• Inspect insulation materials to ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to specifications.
• Perform on-site inspections during and after insulation application.
• Identify gaps or issues during insulation work and recommend corrective actions.

Supervision and Execution:

• Supervise insulation activities to maintain quality standards and compliance.
• Ensure safe application, removal, and maintenance of insulation materials.
• Monitor progress of insulation work against project schedules.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in insulation works within Oil & Gas or Refinery sectors.
• Sound knowledge of insulation materials, installation techniques, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in inspection procedures and measurement methods for insulation.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to insulation activities.
• Ability to read and interpret PID drawings and other technical documents.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on refinery projects is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with advanced insulation technologies and inspection tools.
