Job Description

Instrumentation Engineer – Water Supply Projects (5–10 Years Experience)

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Instrumentation Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in the execution, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of water infrastructure projects, including Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), Intake Works, Pump Houses, Raw Water Pumping Stations, Clear Water Pumping Stations, and associated Water Supply Schemes.

Project Location: Madhya Pradesh & Rajasthan

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and supervise instrumentation and automation works for water supply and treatment projects.
  • Installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of field instruments, including:
    • Flow Meters
    • Pressure Transmitters
    • Level Sensors/Transmitters
    • Water Quality Analyzers
    • Control Valves and Actuators
  • Commissioning and integration of PLC, SCADA, RTU, HMI, and Telemetry Systems.
  • Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and civil teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review instrumentation drawings, P&IDs, logic diagrams, datasheets, and technical specifications.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project schedules.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and automation system issues during execution and commissioning.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, commissioning reports, calibration records, and project progress reports.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and statutory authorities as required.
Qualification

  • B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Instrumentation, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in water supply, WTP, intake works, pump house, irrigation, or related infrastructure projects.
