Instrumentation Executive

Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of Instruments (PT,TT,LT,FT,CV,XV)

and DCS/PLC systems.

• Addressing the Complaint & Trouble Shooting problems regarding instruments and

Control system.

• Read the reports on incomplete/pending jobs from the previous shift on issues such as

major/minor breakdowns, emergencies on calibration/repair/troubleshooting from

Production, QC, R&D &/or Maintenance departments and attend to them on a priority

Basis

• Understanding and maintaining of calibration records and compliance documents

• Make rounds of the plant and conduct routine/preventive maintenance of all the

instruments

• Installation and commissioning of field instruments for new project(s) as per the project

requirements and handle its fabrication & fittings

• DCS Program and change settings such as trip setting, alarm setting et al of instruments

as per requirements of the concerned department

• Implementation of process and safety interlocks in DCS as per the user requirement.

• Prepare a list of all spare parts relating to their present quantity/number & additional

requirements & forward the same to the Assistant Manager Instrumentation for

procurement

• Conduct routine tests on all DCS and PLC systems

• Knowledge of Remote IO's , profibus communication

• Knowledge of third party PLC communication

• Working experience of DCS AMC activities and maintenance activities

• Working experience of Root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA for breakdowns

• Able to read cable schedule, plant layouts , P&ID's , DCS nest loading

• Manage contractor relationships and ensure timely completion, within budget, safely, and to the

specified quality.

• Support mechanical/Process/Electrical teams for process optimization by automation.

• Working experience on PA systems, Intercom system, Fire alarm system

• Working experience on maintenance of weighing systems ,load cell, drum filling machines

• Provide adequate supplementary instrument(s) in case of unavailability of spares leading

to delays in repairs
