ABOUT THE ROLE: We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and self-driven Instrumentation Engineer with strong expertise in field instrumentation engineering and project deliverables. The role focuses on independent preparation of engineering documents, vendor evaluation, and coordination across disciplines to ensure product quality and its productivity along with covering the optimization, environment regulation, safety, and plant commissioning and maintenance. The candidate should have 3-8 years of experience in this segment, with a strong background in oil and gas industry applications. This role requires technical expertise in regulator selection and customer requirement analysis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform detailed engineering of instrumentation; Prepare instrument lists, valve lists, I/O lists; Develop JB schedules, layouts, cable schedules, JB wiring; Prepare hook-up diagrams and BOMs.
- Datasheets, Specifications & Procurement Support: Prepare instrument datasheets; Prepare MR and RFQ; Review project / tender documents and technical specs.
- Vendor Evaluation & Document Review: Conduct vendor evaluation; Perform/ review sizing calculations; Prepare TBA; Review vendor documents/ deliverables and TC documents.
- Coordination: Coordinate with cross disciplines and perform inter-discipline checks.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISA, IEC and maintain documentation quality.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Strong documentation, vendor evaluation, independent working capability, coordination and communication skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 3–8 years in instrumentation engineering.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: B. Tech in Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Electronic/ ECE/ Eq.
SALARY PACKAGE: As per Industry Standard.
