Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Metering Engineer with proven exposure to Saudi Aramco custody transfer metering systems. The role involves inspection, verification, proving, and performance validation of metering instruments in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and international codes.
Qualification Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation / Control Engineering
- Minimum 8- 10 years of experience in Custody Metering
- Proven experience on Saudi Aramco projects (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards (SAES, SAMSS, GI, NJBP)
Hands-on Experience With
- Ultrasonic Meters
- Turbine Meters
- Positive Displacement (PD) Meters
- Flow Computers
- Provers Calibration Systems
Scope of Responsibility
- Perform inspection and functional checks of all custody metering instruments
- Verify meter configuration, diagnostics, and performance parameters
- Execute flow computer checks and data validation
- Review meter factor history and alarm logs
- Support meter proving, calibration, and validation activities
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco custody transfer requirements
- Coordinate OEM technical requirements and vendor support as required
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities
