Description
We are seeking a skilled Instrument Analyzer Technician to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting various analytical instruments used in our laboratory. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure the reliability of our analytical data and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair instrument malfunctions or issues as they arise.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for instrument operation.
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Maintain detailed records of instrument maintenance, calibration, and repair activities.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members regarding instrument usage and maintenance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in instrument analysis and maintenance in a laboratory or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers, and mass spectrometers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with data acquisition systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations pertaining to laboratory work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
