Summary of Role:
To understand and identify customer needs and create user interface for best user experience based on instructional theory and best practices from the field.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, write, edit, and review engaging e-learning and instructional content, with a focus on technical and software-based courses.
- Translate complex technical concepts, software functionalities, and processes into clear, simple, and learner-friendly instructional content.
- Apply instructional design principles and strategies to develop design documents, detailed storyboards, presentations, worksheets, job aids, assessments, scripts, and other e-learning materials.
- Create detailed, screen-by-screen storyboards for technical/software training, covering instructional flow, on-screen text, voiceover scripts, visuals, demonstrations, interactions, and assessments.
- Design and develop courses for software applications and digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, enterprise applications, and other technical platforms.
- Develop engaging and interactive e-learning courses using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and other relevant tools.
- Define clear learning objectives based on client and stakeholder discussions and ensure that the content, activities, and assessments are aligned with the learning objectives.
- Collaborate with SMEs, technical teams, and clients to understand requirements, gather technical information, validate content, and incorporate feedback.
- Brainstorm and recommend appropriate instructional strategies, learning approaches, and interactive elements based on the target audience and learning objectives.
- Design, review, test, and refine learning content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, usability, and overall learner engagement.
Desired Candidate Profile & Experience:
- Graduate in any field preferable IT / Computers.
- 3 to 5 years experience in Instructional Design.
- Should know Articulate, Rise 360.
- Should have worked with Addie model and Blooms Taxonomy.
- Should have hands on with technical courseware creation.
- Accessibility experience will be an added advantage.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Workdays, Timing & Location:
- 9:30 to 6:30 (Mumbai, Goregaon East)
- Monday to Friday (Hybrid – 2-3 days Work from office)
