Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Instructional Designer to join our Digital Learning Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 4 years of experience in creating storyboards, scripts, and design documents for interactive eLearning modules and video-based learning content. The candidate should be able to review digital outputs, collaborate effectively with developers and media teams, and apply learning theories, instructional design models, and strategies to deliver impactful learning experiences. The role also requires a basic understanding of eLearning authoring and video development tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop storyboards, scripts, and design documents based on client requirements and learning objectives.
- Apply instructional design models (such as ADDIE, SAM, or Blooms Taxonomy) and learning theories to create effective learning solutions.
- Design engaging and learner-centric interactivities, assessments, and scenarios for eLearning and video modules.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), graphic designers, and developers to ensure alignment between instructional intent and final output.
- Review digital deliverables (eLearning modules, videos, and other assets) for instructional quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Ensure all content aligns with project requirements, brand guidelines, and learning outcomes.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in instructional design, learning technology, and digital pedagogy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, Communication, or related field.
- 2- 4 years of experience in instructional design for eLearning and digital learning solutions.
- Proven experience in developing storyboards, design documents, and scripts for eLearning and video-based content.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design theories, models, and strategies (ADDIE, Gagns Events, Merrills Principles, etc.).
- Basic understanding of authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, or Captivate) and video creation tools (such as Vyond, Synthesia, or Camtasia).
- Ability to review and evaluate digital learning outputs with an eye for instructional quality and learner engagement.
- Excellent communication, writing, and visualization skills.
- Strong collaboration and time management abilities in a fast-paced project environment.
