Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous Instructional Designer (Contractual) to join our WO Content team. In this role, you will be crucial in the e-content development cycle, ensuring the pedagogical soundness, accuracy, and quality of our learning materials. You will leverage your expertise in instructional design models and e-learning authoring tools to create engaging and effective educational content, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring learning products to fruition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Development & Quality Assurance:
  • Create and review storyboards/scripts, design and review assessments, and conduct output/build reviews as part of the e-content development cycle.
  • Verify the adherence to specifications by meticulously checking the final deliverables of each project.
  • Ensure all changes and improvements made to content are accurately tracked and incorporated across all relevant platforms and materials.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Coordinate effectively with Graphic Designers for the development of high-quality graphics and animations.
  • Work closely with the LMS technical team to ensure new content is uploaded, tested, and rolled out according to plan and requirements.
  • Collaborate and coordinate well across various cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Proofreading & Attention to Detail:
  • Possess the ability to proofread and review content with immaculate attention to detail, ensuring grammatical correctness and overall quality.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate or Post-graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Proven work experience as an Instructional Designer with demonstrated ability to perform in this capacity.

Skills & Expertise

  • Instructional Design Mastery: Well-versed with Instructional Design models and proficient in executing/reviewing storyboarding/scripting, assessment creation/review, and output/build reviews as part of the e-content development cycle.
  • E-learning Authoring Tools: Demonstrated command over e-learning authoring tools, specifically Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, and at least two other similar tools.
  • Language Proficiency: Spectacular command over the English language and grammar.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Behavioral Attributes:

  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve skills.
  • Adept at teamwork.
