Wellversed is seeking a highly skilled and research-driven Curriculum Development & Instructional Design Specialist to create impactful learning content, structured capability frameworks, and high-quality training materials. The primary role is to design, document, and continuously improve our learning ecosystem by producing engaging and pedagogically sound content for diverse training needs.
Responsibilities:
Research & Benchmarking
- Conduct deep research on behavioural, functional, and leadership skills, industry learning trends, and instructional design methodologies.
- Benchmark best practices across leading organisations and learning institutions to elevate training standards.
Training Content Development
- Create high-quality learning materials including training modules, workbooks, case studies, facilitator guides, assessments, and e-learning scripts.
- Apply instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick Levels) to ensure clarity, structure, and learning impact.
- Develop quizzes, rubrics, learner activities, and scenario-based assessments aligned with expected outcomes.
Curriculum & Learning Pathways
- Build and maintain structured capability frameworks and role-based learning journeys.
- Update and improve existing content based on new research, feedback, and organisational requirements.
Facilitator Enablement & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Prepare session decks, facilitator toolkits, and teaching aids to support seamless delivery.
- Collaborate with trainers, SMEs, and business leaders to convert expertise into trainable, easy-to-understand content.
Content Quality, Documentation & Systems
- Ensure all content meets excellence standards for accuracy, clarity, and visual presentation.
- Maintain content libraries, documentation structure, naming conventions, and version control.
Learning Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
- Analyse training feedback, assessment results, and performance gaps to strengthen learning content.
- Regularly refresh and optimise training materials to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or L&D content creation.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace / MS Office.
- Excellent written communication and content structuring ability.
- Understanding of instructional methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Basic design proficiency using Slides, Canva, or Figma.
- High learnability and attention to detail.
