Job Description – Institutional Sales Executive
About Us:
Metalia is a customised metal facade company. We design and execute premium metal cladding, screens, and facade systems for residential clients, institutional buildings, and franchise partners across India.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Institutional Sales Executive to drive business growth by developing and managing relationships with architects, builders, contractors, consultants, corporates, and other institutional clients. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, conducting client meetings, and converting opportunities into successful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with institutional clients and project stakeholders
• Generate leads through market research, networking, referrals, and client outreach
• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, builders, contractors, and corporate clients
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and product presentations to promote Metalia's solutions
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams to provide suitable solutions
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers for prospective clients
• Follow up on inquiries, proposals, and ongoing discussions to drive project closures
• Coordinate with design, operations, and project teams for smooth execution of confirmed projects
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project pipelines, and sales activities
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Ensure customer satisfaction and generate repeat business opportunities
Required Skills:
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent relationship management and client handling abilities
• Good presentation and business development skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and CRM tools
• Strong follow-up and time management skills
Preferred Qualification:
• Graduate in any discipline
• Candidates with a background in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or related fields will be preferred
• MBA in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in Institutional Sales, B2B Sales, Project Sales, or Business Development
• Experience in building materials, architectural products, metal facades, aluminium cladding, construction materials, or interior solutions preferred
Experience:
2–5 years preferred
