Role Summary
The Institutional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth through institutional channels by identifying new business opportunities, acquiring key accounts, managing relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B sales, institutional sales, healthcare sales, baby care, personal care, FMCG, or consumer products and possess the ability to build long-term partnerships with decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and acquire new institutional customers across hospitals, maternity homes, pediatric clinics, pharmacies, schools, daycare centers, corporate organizations, and gifting partners.
Develop and execute institutional sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Generate leads, conduct meetings, and convert opportunities into long-term business relationships.
Build a strong pipeline of institutional accounts across India.
Key Account Management
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and procurement teams.
Manage existing institutional accounts and drive repeat business.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
Conduct regular business reviews with key partners.
Sales & Revenue Management
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Prepare sales forecasts and business development plans.
Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and contract terms.
Monitor profitability and account performance.
Market Expansion
Explore new channels and opportunities for institutional partnerships.
Identify emerging market trends and customer requirements.
Work closely with marketing teams to develop customized institutional solutions.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with supply chain, operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution.
Ensure timely product availability and order fulfillment.
Support product launches and promotional initiatives within institutional accounts.
Reporting & Analysis
Maintain accurate sales records and CRM data.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
Monitor competitor activity and recommend growth initiatives.
Preferred Experience
5–8 years of experience in Institutional Sales, B2B Sales, Healthcare Sales, FMCG Sales, Personal Care, Baby Care, or Consumer Products.
Proven experience in handling hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, corporate accounts, or institutional customers.
Strong business development and account management skills.
Experience in contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and large accounts.
