Role Description The Rigger role at SpeedAmp Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role involves installing, aligning, and maintaining telecom towers and associated equipment in coordination with field engineers and project managers. The Rigger will perform climbing, rigging, and cable routing work, ensuring safe handling and mounting of antennas, RF components, and related hardware. Responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, identifying and reporting faults, assisting in site surveys, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards and client specifications. The Rigger will also document completed tasks, support testing activities, and collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong practical skills in tower climbing, rigging operations, and safe handling of telecom equipment.
• Candidates should possess skills in basic telecom hardware installation, antenna alignment, and cable routing for RF and network infrastructure.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of safety procedures, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to industry health and safety standards.
• Candidates should possess the ability to read basic technical drawings, follow work instructions, and maintain accurate field documentation and reports.
• Candidates should possess good physical fitness, stamina for working at heights and in outdoor conditions, and the ability to work in a team on rotating schedules.
• Prior experience as a Rigger or field technician in telecom or related infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; vocational training or certification in rigging, telecom, or related fields is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to various site locations within the Greater Kolkata Area and, when needed, to other states is expected.
