Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Instagram Content Strategist who understands the science of content creation and knows how to consistently build reach, followers, and engagement on Instagram.
This role requires someone who can translate client goals into winning content strategies, select high-performing ideas, guide writers, and build Instagram accounts that grow through smart content and distribution.

Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy
- Understand client brand, audience, and business goals.
- Convert client requirements into clear, actionable Instagram content strategies.
- Build monthly and long-term content roadmaps.
- Define content pillars, formats, hooks, and distribution plans.
Idea Selection & Planning
- Research trends, competitors, and audience behavior.
- Pick and validate content ideas with high growth potential.
- Balance educational, viral, brand, and conversion-focused content.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work closely with a team of writers and content creators.
- Train writers on writing better hooks, storytelling, structure, and CTA.
- Review content and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Help the team improve performance, quality, and consistency.
Growth & Distribution
- Build and scale Instagram accounts organically.
- Apply content distribution strategies to maximize reach and saves.
- Understand Instagram algorithm behavior and audience psychology.
- Track performance and optimize based on insights.
Client Communication
- Communicate strategy, performance, and improvements clearly with clients.
- Present content plans and growth direction confidently.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with Instagram content in an agency environment.
- Proven experience building and growing multiple Instagram accounts.
- Strong understanding of content psychology, storytelling, and viral frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of Instagram formats (Reels, Carousels, Stories, Lives).
- Hands-on experience with audience growth and content distribution strategies.
- Experience mentoring or guiding writers/content creators.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with creativity.
