Job Description

Job Title - Manager / Senior Manager Forensic & Insolvency Advisory

Location - Nariman Point, Mumbai (Work From Office)

Experience - 6+ years of relevant post-qualification experience

Service Line - Forensic & Integrity Services / Risk Advisory

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute forensic engagements related to Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC) matters, including assignments before NCLT / NCLAT
  • Support Resolution Professionals (RPs), Committee of Creditors (CoC), lenders, and other stakeholders in insolvency, bankruptcy, and restructuring cases
  • Conduct forensic reviews, transaction analysis, fund-flow and cash-flow tracing, and identification of preferential, undervalued, fraudulent, and extortionate transactions under IBC
  • Assist in litigation support, preparation of expert reports, affidavits, and presentations for NCLT proceedings
  • Work on stressed asset advisory, restructuring, turnaround, and distressed M&A engagements
  • Perform financial analysis, valuation support, and review of resolution plans
  • Coordinate with legal counsels, bankers, RPs, and internal teams across engagements
  • Manage junior team members, review deliverables, and ensure quality and timeliness
  • Support business development through proposal drafting, pitch presentations, and client discussions
  • Stay updated on IBC amendments, judicial precedents, and regulatory developments

Desired Skill Set & Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA (Finance) / equivalent professional qualification
  • Strong hands-on experience in IBC, Insolvency, Bankruptcy, NCLT matters
  • Prior experience with a Big 4 or leading consulting / advisory firm is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of corporate restructuring, distressed M&A, forensic accounting, and financial investigations
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements and work in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working directly with Resolution Professionals (RPs) or lenders
  • Exposure to cross-border insolvency, complex group structures, or large corporate insolvencies
  • Experience in fraud investigations linked to insolvency proceedings
