Role DNA -

This role is designed for someone early in their career who brings structure, ownership, and intellectual seriousness to every piece of work they touch. Alongside insight delivery, you'll support account management and contribute to solution design — but execution quality is the core. The ideal person here isn't looking for hand-holding; they want early ownership and the chance to work at the intersection of research, AI, and client delivery.

WHAT PROBLEM ARE THEY TRYING TO SOLVE

A platform automates data collection, analysis, and report generation — but the final mile requires human judgment, quality control, and structured communication to make outputs usable for demanding clients. The Associate is that last mile. As it scales its client base across consulting and PE firms globally, they need people who can maintain delivery quality at volume. The Associate also serves as a key feedback loop — working closely with clients and ML/product teams to identify where the platform needs to evolve and how new solutions should be designed.

MUST HAVES

  • 1–3 years in a research, consulting, analytics, or strategy role — or an exceptional fresher with demonstrably strong structured thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to present clearly and professionally to clients at consulting or PE firms
  • High ownership mentality — follows through without being chased, treats output quality as a personal standard
  • Structured problem-solver: can take an ambiguous brief, break it down, and deliver something coherent and well-argued
  1. Comfortable working with technology platforms and picking up new tools quickly — this is an AI-powered product environment
  • Genuine intellectual curiosity — wants to understand the why behind a research question, not just complete the task

STRONG SIGNAL

  • Background in primary or secondary research, market intelligence, or data analytics
  • Has produced client-facing deliverables — decks, reports, briefs — even in an internship context
  • Has worked with or alongside product or tech teams
  • Comfortable synthesizing large datasets or qualitative inputs into a coherent narrative
  • Experience with business terminology and comfort discussing commercial or strategic context with clients
  • Prior exposure to B2B client environments — research firms, consulting, SaaS, or enterprise services
  • Has contributed to building a process, template, or playbook, even at a junior level
  • Fast learner with a track record of stepping up quickly in early roles

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE IN 60–90 DAYS

30 Days

Has completed platform onboarding and can independently navigate Teamroom for core insight workflows. Has shadowed at least 2–3 client interactions and can articulate the brief, the output, and the client's expectations for each active engagement.

60 Days

Is delivering insight outputs with limited supervision, with quality that meets client expectations. Has flagged at least one process improvement or platform gap based on hands-on experience. Is contributing meaningfully to client communication with appropriate polish.

90 Days

Is a trusted execution owner on assigned engagements. Can manage the end-to-end delivery of an insight workstream from brief to client output. Has contributed to at least one solution design or platform codification discussion. Is seen internally as a reliable, high-ownership member of the team.
