Position:Inside Sales & Support Associate
Location:Saki Naka, Mumbai
Requirement:Full-time (Mon Sat), 9.00 AM to 5.30PM
Start:Immediate
This role is responsible for strengthening our sales system by ensuring:
- Lead qualification and response discipline
- Quotation coordination and follow-up tracking
- CRM data accuracy
- Installed base management
- Repeat business continuity
This is a structured, process-driven role focused on coordination, follow-ups, and data discipline, not field sales. Sales Engineers will continue to own final revenue and field relationships. This role supports and strengthens that system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Management & Qualification
- Capture and log all incoming leads
- Conduct first-level qualification calls
- Classify leads and assign to appropriate Sales Engineer
- Maintain clean pipeline tracking
- Quotation Coordination & Follow-Up
- Prepare and share quotations
- Maintain structured follow-up schedule
- Track quote-to-order progress
- Ensure no enquiry goes unattended
- CRM Management & Data Accuracy
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Verify, standardize and upload legacy customer records into CRM
- Prepare weekly pipeline and follow-up reports for review.
- Installed Base & Repeat Business Continuity
- Maintain database of customers and installed machines
- Segment customers (high / medium / low activity)
- Conduct periodic outreach to existing customers
- Update machine status and usage patterns
- Track last purchase date of consumables and flag inactive customers
- Support continuity of consumables business through structured follow-ups.
- Marketing Support
- Support marketing-generated leads
- Maintain customer databases
- Assist in campaign follow-up
- Support exhibition and event lead tracking
What this role is NOT:
- Not a field sales role
- Not responsible for revenue closing ownership
- Not responsible for final commercial negotiation
Qualifications & Skills:
- BE / BTech / BBA / BCom / BMS, or a related degree
- 1-3 years in B2B sales coordination / inside sales / industrial back-office sales. Freshers may be considered if they demonstrate strong communication skills and structured thinking ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with industrial customers
- High follow-up discipline and ability to persist politely
- Organised and process-oriented
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office tools
