Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive Inside Sales Specialist to manage Request for Quotes (RFQs) and drive sales opportunities within our Research & Consulting division. This role involves handling inbound RFQs, preparing proposals, and converting leads into revenue-generating projects.

Key Responsibilities

RFQ Management & Proposal Development

  • Analyze incoming RFQs from clients and assess feasibility.
  • Collaborate with research & consulting teams to draft compelling proposals.
  • Ensure pricing, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined.

Client Engagement & Sales Conversion

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to RFQs.
  • Present proposals and negotiate terms with potential clients.
  • Follow up on open RFQs to maximize conversion rates.

Market & Industry Research

  • Understand client needs and industry trends to refine proposal strategies.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure competitive pricing and project feasibility.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of RFQs, proposals, and conversion metrics.
  • Provide regular reports on RFQ performance and pipeline status.

Key Requirements

Experience: 2-5 years in inside sales, business development, or RFQ handling (preferably in consulting, research, or B2B services).

Skills: Strong proposal writing, negotiation, and client communication skills.

Tools: Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and proposal documentation.

Industry Knowledge: Exposure to market research, consulting, or B2B sales.

Mindset: Target-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple RFQs simultaneously.
