The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for converting inbound demand and warm leads into revenue by selling Truckopedia's compliance and filing solutions to small and mid-sized fleets (250 trucks). This role focuses on consultative selling, attach-rate growth, and expanding account value across our product portfolio.
This is a true sales role, not customer support. Success is measured by revenue, conversion rates, and multi-product adoption.
WHAT YOU'LL SELL
- Premium filing services: Form 2290, UCR, MCS-150, amendments, refunds
- Compliance bundles and multi-product packages
- Truckopedia platform tools and services (as they roll out)
- Add-on services relevant to fleet growth and compliance posture
IDEAL CUSTOMER PROFILE YOU'LL WORK WITH
- Small to mid-sized fleets (250 trucks)
- Fleet owners, office managers, compliance managers
- Multi-location or growing fleets
- Customers with recurring, predictable compliance needs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Convert inbound leads and qualified marketing leads into closed sales
- Proactively upsell and cross-sell existing customers based on fleet size, filing status, and compliance needs
- Identify opportunities for bundles and multi-product adoption
- Conduct consultative discovery calls focused on fleet operations and compliance risks
- Maintain accurate CRM records in HubSpot (activities, notes, pipeline stages)
- Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Support to improve messaging, offers, and handoffs
- Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3+ years of inside sales or account executive experience (B2B preferred)
- Proven ability to close transactional and consultative sales
- Comfort selling regulated or operationally complex products
- Experience using a CRM (HubSpot strongly preferred)
- Strong communication, follow-up, and objection-handling skills
- Experience selling products and solutions to consumers located and operating in the United States
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Experience in trucking, logistics, insurance, tax, or compliance-related sales for U.S. consumers
- Experience selling/upselling bundles, subscriptions, or multi-product solutions
