Statiq was born with the idea of making sustainable transportation a reality in developing countries. It is a new-age start-up, leading the EV movement in India, by setting up chargers across the country. Statiq was named as one of the top 3 most promising start-ups by NASSCOM in the year 2020, it was the same year we got selected for Y Combinator, a Silicon Valley based accelerator program.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our B2C Sales team as an intern. This role offers hands-on exposure to inside sales, customer engagement, lead management, and the rapidly growing EV ecosystem. You will work closely with experienced sales professionals to support customer acquisition efforts, nurture leads, and drive adoption of Statiq's home charging solutions. This internship is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles within a high-growth startup environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with prospective customers through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and understand customer requirements.
  • Educate customers about Statiq's EV charging solutions, products, and services.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects to improve lead conversion.
  • Support the sales team in managing customer interactions and sales pipelines.
  • Update CRM systems and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports, trackers, and performance updates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights with the sales and operations teams.
  • Support ongoing sales campaigns and lead generation initiatives.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in sales, business development, customer engagement, or the EV industry.
  • Confidence in speaking with customers and handling telephonic conversations.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM tools is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong ownership mindset and positive attitude.
