Innovation Manager

Areas of responsibilities :

Nature of the Job:

This position is responsible for working on business improvement related activities related to M/s KPIL. Candidate is expected to work with various teams on continuous improvement initiatives to deliver result on consistent basis.

Basic Tasks:

• Work on strategic initiatives across group companies
• Work with business teams to design & implement various improvement activities like operational process improvement activities, site productivity improvement, material management, identification & implementation of automation & mechanization initiatives, exploring new technologies in construction, impacting business results
• Ensure seamless implementation of all above activities across various businesses of the organization.
• Identify improvement opportunities for business with in-depth study of processes, data analysis and discussion business stakeholders
• Assessment of business impact of the identified improvement opportunity
• Estimate the benefits out of above initiatives and present it to senior management
• Analysis of business data to identify key trends
• Creation of customized tool / reports / tracking of multiple initiatives
• The position will based out of Mumbai but will require travelling to project sites

Competencies:

• Must have excellent analytical and diagnostics skills
• Must have good exposure to advanced excel, other analytical tools and be able to do analysis and interpretation of data
• Must have good at creating / delivering presentation in power-point / other modes
• Familiarity with Gen AI tools and their applications for various business use cases
• Experience in any sector out of Transmission Line, Railway, Water, Building Constructions, Heavy Civil will be added advantage

Skills:

• Candidate should be go –getter and be able to coordinate work with different departments/ members
• Good Communication skills

Education :

• Graduate Engineer (preferably Civil / Mechanical)
• MBA degree

Experience: 14- 20 years of experience, preferably in Consulting/Operational Excellence role
