Role Description The Injection Molding Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The person in this role will operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce reusable food containers according to production schedules and specifications. Daily tasks include setting up molds, adjusting machine parameters, loading raw materials, and overseeing production to maintain consistent cycle times and output. The operator will inspect parts for quality, perform basic troubleshooting, and report any equipment or quality issues to supervisors. Responsibilities also include performing routine cleaning, supporting preventive maintenance activities, following safety and housekeeping standards, and completing production and quality documentation accurately.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Machine Operation and Injection Molding, including setting up, starting, and stopping machines, and adjusting basic parameters.
- Experience with Injections and related molding processes to ensure stable production and consistent part quality.
- Strong focus on Quality Control, including visual inspection, basic measurement checks, and adherence to specifications and standards.
- Familiarity with Preventive Maintenance practices such as routine checks, cleaning, and reporting equipment issues promptly.
- Previous experience in plastic manufacturing or packaging production is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and basic technical data.
- Attention to detail, reliability in shift-based work, and ability to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical, production, or related fields is an advantage.
