- Ensure induction molds are built as per design drawings and within dimensional tolerances.
- Review mold trials and inspect first-off samples for fit, finish, and surface quality.
- Select appropriate polymers based on application and molding behavior.
- Optimize injection molding parameters for consistency and minimal defects.
- Conduct root cause analysis for molding or surface defects.
- Coordinate with tooling, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturing standards.
- Familiar with tolerance standards (GD&T), mold qualification, and quality control.
- Strong understanding of surface finish requirements
Hands-on experience with polymer testing and defect troubleshooting.
