ING Calypso Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Production Support & Maintenance

• Provide functional and technical support for the Calypso platform.
• Perform Run the Bank (RTB) and Change the Bank (CTB) functions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.

Business Interaction & Query Resolution

• Work closely with business users to address and resolve queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system functionality.
• Assist in requirement gathering and issue analysis to enhance platform capabilities.

Continuous Improvement & Strategic Initiatives

• Contribute to strategic bank initiatives aimed at enhancing Calypso capabilities.
• Drive continuous learning and improvement in processes.
• Work on modern Continuous Integration (CI) processes and toolchains.

Shift & Support Coverage

• Participate in a rotational afternoon shift to ensure 24/7 support coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical & Functional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in Calypso production support.
• Hands-on experience in FX (Foreign Exchange) and MM (Money Market) products.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with Continuous Integration (CI) processes.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team.
• Proactive approach to learning and process improvement.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Calypso development/customization.
• Experience with automation in production support.
• Knowledge of cloud-based deployment and monitoring tools.
