About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Technical Lead to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role requires strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Identity & Access Management, VMware, PowerShell Automation, Backup & Disaster Recovery, Azure, and Infrastructure Operations.

The candidate will also provide technical leadership, manage critical incidents, coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams, and ensure infrastructure availability, security, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations

• Manage and maintain enterprise Windows Server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot server outages, performance issues, patch failures, unexpected reboots, and other critical infrastructure incidents.
• Perform infrastructure health checks, monitoring, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Lead P1/P2 incidents, coordinate recovery activities, and ensure timely resolution within defined SLAs.
• Provide support for critical business incidents outside regular working hours when required.
  
  

Active Directory & Identity Management

• Administer Active Directory across enterprise environments.
• Manage users, groups, computer accounts, OUs, permissions, and Group Policies.
• Troubleshoot AD replication, authentication, and GPO-related issues.
• Manage Identity & Access Management (IAM) activities including provisioning, de-provisioning, role management, and access governance.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), SSO, and MFA integrations.
  
  

Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for infrastructure automation.
• Automate routine administration, reporting, monitoring, and compliance activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and standardization.
  
  

VMware & Cloud Infrastructure

• Manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and vMotion environments.
• Monitor and optimize virtual infrastructure availability and performance.
• Support hybrid infrastructure and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Support cloud-based infrastructure, file services, backup, and disaster recovery requirements.
  
  

Network & Infrastructure Services

• Troubleshoot infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, File Services, SMTP Relay, and RADIUS.
• Coordinate with Network and Security teams for connectivity, firewall, routing, and performance-related issues.
• Manage shared folders, NTFS permissions, file access, and storage allocation.
  
  

Backup, DR & Security

• Manage enterprise backup operations and monitor backup success and failures.
• Conduct periodic recovery testing and Disaster Recovery (DR) drills.
• Ensure adherence to defined RPO and RTO requirements.
• Drive system hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure security activities.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain required technical documentation and evidence.
  
  

Leadership & Vendor Management

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to infrastructure team members.
• Coordinate with managed service providers, OEMs, hardware vendors, and technology partners.
• Manage technical escalations and monitor vendor SLA performance.
• Work closely with Application, Database, Network, Security, and Cloud teams.
• Review infrastructure changes, implementation plans, and technical solutions.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Problem Management, and service improvement initiatives.
• Prepare operational reports covering infrastructure performance, KPIs, incidents, and SLA metrics.
• Support infrastructure modernization and transformation projects.
