Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Specialist for Cloud Platforms, you will manage and implement infrastructure solutions across various cloud environments according to established designs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will collaborate with IT teams to implement and integrate cloud infrastructure solutions based on existing designs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Set Up and Configure Cloud Infrastructure: Set up, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and databases across different cloud platforms to effectively support business applications.
- Implement and Oversee Cloud Resources: Implement and oversee essential cloud resources such as Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Load Balancers, and Cloud Storage solutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and Troubleshoot Infrastructure: Continuously monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations to ensure reliable performance.
- Apply Security Measures: Apply and enforce security measures to ensure cloud infrastructure complies with organizational policies and industry regulations.
- Optimize Cloud Costs: Optimize cloud costs by right-sizing resources, developing cost-effective solutions, and monitoring usage patterns.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Cloud Services Proficiency: Exposure to cloud services from providers such as Oracle Cloud, Nutanix Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and others, with expertise in Linux and VMware environments.
- Automation Tools Experience: Exposure to automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and native cloud automation services to automate and streamline processes.
- Cloud Migration Project Experience: Experience with cloud migration projects, including implementation and execution, with a focus on effective planning and delivery.
- Kubernetes Cluster Management: Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters across various cloud environments for effective container orchestration and scaling.
- DevOps Practices Knowledge: Exposure to DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), with an understanding of their application in cloud infrastructure management.

- Cloud Cost Optimization Techniques: Exposure to methods for optimizing cloud costs, including right-sizing resources, developing cost-effective solutions, and monitoring usage patterns to minimize expenses.
