Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Specialist for Cloud Platforms, you will manage and implement infrastructure solutions across various cloud environments according to established designs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will collaborate with IT teams to implement and integrate cloud infrastructure solutions based on existing designs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Set up, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and databases across different cloud platforms to effectively support business applications.
- Implement Cloud Resources: Oversee essential cloud resources such as Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Load Balancers, and Cloud Storage solutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure High Availability: Continuously monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations to ensure reliable performance.
- Optimize Cloud Costs: Right-size resources, develop cost-effective solutions, and monitor usage patterns to optimize cloud costs.
- Automate Processes: Use automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and native cloud automation services to automate and streamline processes.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Cloud Services Proficiency: Experience with cloud services from providers such as Oracle Cloud, Nutanix Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and others, along with expertise in Linux and VMware environments.
- DevOps Practices: Experience with DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), and applying these practices to cloud infrastructure management.
- Automation Tools: Experience using automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and native cloud automation services to automate and streamline processes.
- Cloud Migration: Experience with cloud migration projects, including implementation and execution, and ability to manage and execute cloud migration plans.
- Kubernetes Cluster Management: Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters across various cloud environments for effective container orchestration and scaling.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Cloud Security Best Practices: Experience with implementing and enforcing cloud security measures to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations, including data encryption, access controls, and threat detection.
- Advanced Cloud Automation: Experience with advanced automation tools and scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell, to automate complex cloud infrastructure tasks and workflows.
- Multi-Cloud Expertise: Experience managing and integrating multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and others, to provide a seamless and efficient cloud infrastructure.
