We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect to join our Bosch Collaboration Management team in Bangalore. This role is part of a distributed team, collaborating closely with colleagues in both India and Germany. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, firewalls, zoning, security concepts and other common IT technologies like ports, protocols, etc.
This position requires an individual who can independently manage small projects or project components while ensuring compliance with Bosch standards. A key part of the role will also involve supporting the Bosch Solution Advisory service for the implementation of non-standard demands, working with customers to identify and implement the most efficient solution based on available Bosch Services.
Minimum Experience: 7(Min) - 11(Max) years experience.
Preferred Qualification : Candidates with a bachelor's/master's degree and additional certifications in Architecture such as TOGAF or similar or a related area will be given preference.
Responsibilities:
Support the Bosch Solution Advisory service by assisting in the implementation of non-standard demands, translating customer needs into efficient IT infrastructure solutions based on available Bosch Services.
Support customers (both within GDS and BMA) as part of the EpITOP process.
Assist in the creation of Bosch-compliant IT infrastructure architecture.
Provide project support and manage small projects effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
Maintain documentation and updates on project progress using Confluence and Jira.
Skillset:
Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, network structure and network security.
Experience in using Confluence, Jira, and other collaboration tools.
Familiarity with Office365 applications and tools.
Experience with Kanban systems for project management.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Proven ability to collaborate across teams and foster a cooperative work environment.
