Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Infrastructure / Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end on-premises infrastructure solutions across enterprise data center environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on architecture experience, the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, and deep expertise across compute, virtualization, storage, networking, and resiliency solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end on-premises infrastructure solutions across enterprise data center environments.
- Define and maintain infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and design patterns.
- Translate business and application requirements into robust, scalable technical architectures.
- Develop comprehensive architecture artifacts, including:
- High-Level Designs (HLDs)
- Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
- Architecture diagrams
- Capacity and performance models
Data Center & Platform Architecture
- Architect, design, and optimize the following platforms:
- Servers & compute platforms
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, backup platforms)
- Network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, firewalls, load balancers)
- Design and implement high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization across environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Infrastructure Architect in enterprise data center environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise in on-prem infrastructure architecture and design.
- Experience producing detailed architecture documentation and design artifacts.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with business, application, and technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (VMware, Microsoft, networking, storage) are a strong plus.
