We are looking for a hands-on Infrastructure & Platform Lead who can take ownership of our internal IT and infrastructure, bring operational maturity, and build systems that scale with the company.

Role Overview

The Infrastructure & Platform Lead will be responsible for designing, operating, and continuously improving SecNinjaz's internal infrastructure and IT environment.

This role requires a hands-on technical leader capable of managing virtualization, secure networking, identity systems, developer platforms, and security infrastructure while leading a small team of IT engineers. The candidate will also mentor junior infrastructure engineers and help establish professional operational standards.

You will ensure that our internal systems are secure, resilient, well-documented, professionally operated and compliant, forming the backbone of our cybersecurity and product engineering teams.

Candidates should demonstrate strong understanding of secure infrastructure design and operational security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain virtualization infrastructure
• Operate internal technology platforms and services
• Maintain secure networking and remote access infrastructure
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and backup systems
• Improve infrastructure documentation and operational processes
• Lead and mentor junior IT / infrastructure engineers

Compliance & Governance

• Support and maintain organizational compliance requirements related to IT and cybersecurity
• Ensure infrastructure and systems align with defined security and compliance standards
• Assist in audits by providing required technical evidence and documentation
• Maintain proper access controls, logging, and system configurations as per compliance needs
• Continuously improve infrastructure practices to align with evolving compliance requirements

Required Skills

Candidates should have experience with:

• Linux system administration
• virtualization platforms (Proxmox / VMware / KVM)
• networking fundamentals
• VPN technologies
• infrastructure monitoring
• backup systems
• infrastructure documentation

Preferred Experience

Exposure to any of the following is beneficial:

• developer platforms (GitLab Premium/Ultimate)
• identity and access management systems
• containerization technologies
• infrastructure automation
• storage systems

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate:

• is hands-on with infrastructure technologies - proprietary as well as open source
• has experience managing production environments
• values documentation and structured operations
• is comfortable working in a fast-growing technical organization

Experience working with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 9001, STQC, SOC2, etc.) is a plus.
