Infrastructure Engineer – Virtualization

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid Work Model)

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Infrastructure Engineer – Virtualization / VMware Focus. You will play a key role in managing large-scale, multi-datacenter VMware environments, supporting VDI platforms, and ensuring system availability and performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support large-scale, multi-datacenter VMware vSphere environments

• Manage and maintain VMware Horizon (VDI) infrastructure

• Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities

• Monitor infrastructure performance and availability using PRTG

• Collaborate with networking, security, and systems teams to resolve issues

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in virtualization or infrastructure engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere
• Experience supporting VDI environments (VMware Horizon)
• Patch management tools
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration
• Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Endpoint Manager) and basic Azure exposure
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
