As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms team, youutilize strong knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Job responsibilities
- Applies technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, with a focus on improving the data and systems running at scale, and ensures end to end monitoring of applications
- Expertise with Bluecat Integrity (DDI vendor)
- Strong understanding of DNS architecture, zones, records, views, polices, DHCP scopes
- Deploy, Configure and maintain DNS infrastructure that provides high available and scalable DNS services across our network
- Good command over IPv4 subnetting and network fundamentals
- Take inventory of the current DNS system and work with IT stakeholders to build a modern DNS System
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Strong knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments
- Troubleshoot DDI problems and recommend corrective procedures leads troubleshooting DDI issues.
- Configure and maintain DNS,DHCP and IP address management (DDI) Solutions to ensure optimal performance and security
- Monitor and analyze DNS traffic for anomalies and potential threats
Perform device configurations, internal operating system upgrades and software upgrades and deploy physical/VM appliances to support DNS infrastructure
