Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Be a Part of the technical team in cloud engineering platform techniques and processes such as: Infrastructure as Code and continued automation of tasks
  • Develop and grow Kubernetes based microservices clusters in a Cloud Organization
  • Provide direction on engineering platform in Azure
  • Document designs and implementation
  • Provide expertise to development teams on CI/CD
  • Help the team with initial triage of platform issues
  • Experience in Redhat Linux with an Esxi/VMware Virtualization environment.
  • Perform Security OS pathing on Windows and Linux servers.
  • Build and basic troubleshoot the Redhat Linux & Windows servers.
  • Linux & AIX & Windows Day-to-day support.
  • multi pathing, LVM, & disk management in Linux and Windows servers.
  • work on Printer issues on Windows & Linux.
  • Linux directory permissions
  • User access issues
  • New File system and NFS /CIFS file system mount on both Windows & Linux servers.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows command lines
  • Monitoring and maintaining system performance, security, and availability
  • Managing user accounts and permissions
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on Windows & Linux servers.
  • Monitoring alerts and respond accordingly.
  • Monitor the infrastructure Alerts and action accordingly.
  • Monitor the backup status and action accordingly.
  • Alert Monitoring, Reporting, and Escalations process.
  • monitor the system performance and ensure compliance with the security standards.
  • Manage Windows file servers, print servers, Active Directory, and group policies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve disk space issues and performance bottlenecks on Windows servers.
  • Monitor the Citrix environment and resolve the user incident tickets
  • Respond to alerts related to storage capacity, backup failures, and system anomalies
  • Perform initial troubleshooting steps for common issues like failed backups, inaccessible data, or storage capacity issues.
  • Escalate complex problems to L2 or L3 engineers when necessary.
  • Assist with data restoration requests for simple cases.

What we are looking for :

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
