As a High-Performance Infrastructure Engineer, you will own the full lifecycle of our low-latency trading and research systems. Your mission is to architect and optimize C++ and Python-based environments that handle massive throughput with microsecond precision. You will build the data pipelines and backtesting frameworks that form the backbone of our research, ensuring our infrastructure remains a competitive advantage.
What You'll Do
- Architect & Build: Develop and maintain core C++17/20 trading systems and high-throughput research platforms.
- Data Engineering: Optimize large-scale data pipelines to provide researchers with reliable, high-quality datasets.
- Systems Integration: Bridge the gap between research and production by building tools for model training and strategy evaluation.
- Maintain Excellence: Drive code quality through rigorous reviews and stay ahead of emerging tech to continuously modernize our stack.
Requirements
- Technical Mastery: 2+ years of Modern C++ (17/20) and Python (NumPy/SciPy) experience in real-time, demanding environments.
- Systems Expert: Deep understanding of Linux internals, systems-level programming, and distributed systems (Kafka/Redis/HTCondor).
- Education: BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
- Preferred: Experience with market data feeds, C++/Python bindings (pybind11), or performance tuning (Blaze/LAPACK).
