In this vital, on-site role in Hyderabad, you will be an Infrastructure Automation Engineer responsible for developing innovative self-service solutions on the ServiceNow platform. As part of a scaled Agile product delivery team, you will serve as a subject matter expert, working closely with product owners, developers, and testers to create automation solutions that integrate with various enterprise systems and enhance self-service capabilities for our global workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- ServiceNow Development & Automation: Create and configure ServiceNow catalog items, workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, and REST APIs. You will develop system integrations and process automation, creating and maintaining data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Collaboration & Agile Practices: You will participate in design reviews and collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other developers to understand, estimate, and implement solutions. This role requires you to work effectively within an Agile environment (SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban).
- Code & Quality: Design, code, debug, document, deploy, and maintain solutions in an efficient manner. You will also participate in problem analysis and code reviews, ensuring the quality of all developed solutions.
- Support & Maintenance: Work directly with users to resolve support issues and monitor the health, performance, and usage of developed solutions. You will remain current on new technology and apply innovation to improve functionality.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree with 1-3 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience, or a Diploma with 7-9 years of experience in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration and development in two or more products (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, GRC, HRSD, or Security Operations).
- ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript, AngularJS, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other programming languages.
- Experience with workflow automation and integration development using REST, SOAP, or MID servers.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer certifications are preferred.
