Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Architect to design, implement and govern secure, scalable and highly available Azure infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Azure architecture, cloud migration, networking, security, governance, Infrastructure as Code and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure and cloud architecture.
• Develop Azure Landing Zones, management group structures and subscription strategies.
• Design Hub-and-Spoke networking and secure Azure connectivity.
• Define Azure governance, policies, security standards and architectural best practices.
• Apply Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well-Architected principles.
• Design high availability and disaster recovery solutions based on business requirements, RTO and RPO.
• Implement and manage Azure Site Recovery and other DR solutions.
• Lead cloud migration activities, including discovery, assessment, dependency mapping, planning and execution.
• Manage migration cutovers, DNS changes, validation, rollback planning and post-migration support.
• Design Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates.
• Implement identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC and PIM.
• Design security controls including network segmentation, Key Vault and Defender for Cloud.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application and business teams.
• Prepare architecture documents, solution designs, technical standards and decision records.
• Provide technical leadership and support during implementation and production transition.

Mandatory Skills

• 10–14+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Azure architecture or solution design.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Azure infrastructure architecture.
• Azure Landing Zones, Management Groups and Subscription Design.
• Hub-and-Spoke architecture and Azure networking.
• Azure VNets, NSGs, UDRs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway and Load Balancer.
• ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway and hybrid connectivity.
• Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates.
• Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, RBAC and PIM.
• Azure Key Vault and Defender for Cloud.
• Azure Site Recovery, HA, DR, RTO and RPO.
• Azure Migrate and enterprise cloud migration.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments, especially Azure and GCP.
• Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications

• AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert is mandatory or strongly preferred.
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure and solution architecture.
• Experience in enterprise cloud transformation and migration projects.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and explain architecture to stakeholders.
• Willingness to work from the Chennai office and the 3:00 PM–12:00 AM shift.
• Immediate joiners or candidates serving notice period up to 30 days preferred.
