Job Description

As an Infrastructure and Network Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting an organization's IT infrastructure and network systems. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of networks, servers, and related infrastructure components. You will have the opportunity to deliver services in an environment that involves designing and implementing solutions incorporated with the best of breed technologies, frameworks, and best practices. This provides a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and have a deep commitment to deliver services to customers. You will be working with the latest Microsoft 365 offering – products and services and will be responsible for Active Directory and Microsoft 365 tenant setup, Exchange and SharePoint administration; providing end-user support, provide hardware and software support working in collaborating with the IT Manager to ensure operational security, Maintenance and Governance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• On premise and Azure Active directory design, configure, support and maintenance 
• Microsoft 365 tenant setup and configuration including all security configurations.
• Microsoft Defender configuration and monitoring setup using various Microsoft services available through M365 offerings. 
• Ensuring the operational health of the O365, SharePoint online environment including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability
• Design/Maintenance/sustainment of existing client SharePoint sites and sub sites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, and items)
• Maintenance, and sustainment of additional complementary functionality for customer sub sites, lists, libraries, and content
• Administer and support an enterprise-level Microsoft O365 emails and team'sservices/configuration
• Microsoft Cost and License Management
• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP and wireless networks.
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity or infrastructure issues.
• Maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual environments).
• Implement security measures such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) if applicable.
• Perform network upgrades, patches, and capacity planning.
• Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.
• Document network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
• Collaborate with system administrators, DevOps teams, and security teams.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security and IT policies.
• End user security setup – Intune, VPN and other software deployment, configurations 
• General IT: End-user support and training for hardware and software – MS 365, Teams, Outlook, and other basic software used by end users
• Training and educating end-users on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, teams, OneNote, Outlook etc)
• HA, Proxy setup and monitoring 
• Operational Security, Maintenance and Governance.

Additionally responsible for 

• Logical and physical controls of the company's IT system by providing, on a quarterly basis, documented assurance that access to computer resources (data, equipment, and facilities) is reasonable and restricted to authorized individuals. (Asset Management)
• Perform software upgrades and patches (bios, firmware upgrades, etc.)
• Troubleshoot various Microsoft  365 issues including connectivity and mobility
• Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings.

Qualifications

• Experience administering O365, Exchange, Teams, Azure Active Directory 
• Experience with SharePoint environment
• Experience working with network and security hardware/software
• System administrator experience and ability to provide technical and end-user support through remote tools
• Experience working with networking – IP, DNS, SMTP, DHCP, Firewalls and Microsoft Intune, Defender, Purview and security tools. 
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CISCO or other Network certifications. 
• 4-7 years of IT experience.
