Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Infrastructure Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of servers, networks, virtual environments, and platforms while supporting business continuity through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades. This role involves close collaboration with internal IT teams to deliver reliable and secure infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networks, and virtual machines
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operations
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis
- Implement infrastructure upgrades, patches, and enhancements as required
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to support application deployments and business operations
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures
- Support disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure business continuity
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and best practices
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in network administration, virtualization (VMs), and platform management
- Experience with server operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and performance management
- Understanding of infrastructure security and access controls
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative IT team
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
