We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience in CassandraDB Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our database infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of CassandraDB and the ability to work in a hybrid model with rotational shifts. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our database systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize CassandraDB database infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.
- Provide support for database-related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
- Oversee the deployment of database updates and patches to maintain system security and stability.
- Develop and maintain database documentation including configuration settings and operational procedures.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity and ensure business continuity.
- Conduct regular database audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
- Provide training and support to junior team members on CassandraDB best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical database systems.
- Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of database systems with other IT components.
- Analyze database performance metrics and generate reports to inform decision-making processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in CassandraDB and related technologies to continuously improve database management practices.
Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in CassandraDB Administration.
