Job Description

Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner

Project Role Description : Provide L1–L2 technical support for infrastructure, systems, and applications in production and development environments, both remotely and onsite, following defined operating models and processes. Act as the primary interface with users/clients to accurately diagnose issues and deliver effective resolutions across infrastructure, operating systems, networks, and application platforms, ensuring service stability and quality support.

Summary:

As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, a typical day involves delivering first and second level technical assistance for infrastructure, systems, and applications across both production and development settings. This role requires working closely with users and clients to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, whether remotely or onsite. The practitioner follows established procedures and operating models to maintain service reliability and quality, ensuring smooth operation of various technology platforms and infrastructure components throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Assist in monitoring system performance and proactively identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience in managing device configurations, policies, and compliance using Microsoft Intune.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint management and security principles.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting operating systems and application issues in enterprise environments.
  • Ability to work with remote support tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve user issues.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security tools and best practices
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender suite preferred
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals and their impact on infrastructure --

support.

Strong expertise in:

  • Microsoft Intune
  • SCCM / MECM
  • Co-management setup and operations

Experience with:

  • Windows 10/11 management
  • Autopilot deployment
  • Group Policy vs MDM migration

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Intune.
  • 12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in endpoint management
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
