Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner

Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary:

As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, a typical day involves delivering continuous technical assistance and upkeep for both production and development environments. This role requires managing and supporting various systems and software products across multiple platforms, ensuring smooth operation within established processes. The practitioner addresses hardware and software issues, working both remotely and onsite, and handles troubleshooting at foundational and intermediate levels. The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability to different technologies and collaboration with teams to maintain system reliability and performance.

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Assist in documenting technical procedures and knowledge base articles to support team learning and continuity.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on routine tasks and troubleshooting.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Netapp Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration.
• Experience with storage management and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of server operating systems and network infrastructure components.
• Ability to perform hardware and software diagnostics and resolve issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery processes related to storage systems.
