Responsibilities
Monitor, support and administer Global WAN, wired and wireless LAN across corporate
offices and data centers
Respond to network incidents and alerts escalated by NOC or automated monitoring
tools • Routine implementation of firewall ACL and policy changes
Implement firewall policies on Fortinet, Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls
Implement URL filtering using proxy/SASE cloud-based security platform
VPN Configuration and Private Access on SASE Configuration
Assist in secure network access controls and enforcement of enterprise security
standards.
Troubleshoot WAN issues and coordinate with SD-WAN vendors
Perform routine WAN and Internet link failover testing
Prepare and analyze WAN and Internet bandwidth utilization reports
Maintain routers, switches, and firewalls as per lifecycle management standards
Support link provisioning, stability checks, and escalation management with service
providers.
Follow Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes
Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Work on Network Incidents, Service Request & Security Incidents with detailed analysis
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer
Science, Information Technology or equivalent
2–5 years of experience in networking-focused second-line (L2) support role
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
Strong fundamentals in TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and wireless
networking
Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Data Center switches, routers, and
firewalls
Hands-on Cisco IOS and NX-OS operating systems
Knowledge of routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama
Experience with FortiGate Firewall.
Aruba Central (Wifi & Switches)
Network Access Control (NAC )
Experience using ServiceNow and Jira and Fresh Service ticketing systems
