Job Summary
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on experience in cloud platforms and strong exposure to handling support tickets. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of networking fundamentals and experience providing L2 and L3 support in a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Handle incident management, service requests, and troubleshooting via ticketing systems
- Provide L2 and L3 support for infrastructure, network, and application-related issues
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to compute, storage, and networking in cloud environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of production issues
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
- Support system upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
- Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Strong experience in incident management and ticket resolution (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking concepts:
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Subnetting, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers
- Experience in L2 and L3 support environments
- Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows server administration
- Understanding of monitoring tools and logs analysis
Preferred Skills
- Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, or PowerShell)
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices
