Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Automation & Tool Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and scripts using languages such as Python, PowerShell, Ruby, and Bash
  • Build scalable and reusable automation frameworks to support infrastructure lifecycle management

Configuration Management

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
  • Ensure consistency and standardization across environments through configuration management practices

Workflow Design & Implementation

  • Design and implement automated workflows for provisioning, configuration, patching, monitoring, and incident response
  • Improve reliability and speed of infrastructure operations through automation

Systems Integration & Collaboration

  • Integrate automation solutions with existing IT service management and monitoring platforms
  • Collaborate with platform, storage, and networking teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure all automation solutions comply with security best practices and regulatory standards
  • Incorporate security controls and compliance checks into automated workflows

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Maintain clear documentation for automation processes, code releases, and infrastructure configurations
  • Support knowledge sharing and operational transparency across teams
