Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Infotainment Test Automation Framework Developer with strong expertise in NI LabVIEW, TestStand, VeriStand, and Python-based automation frameworks within the automotive domain.
The role focuses on designing and building scalable HIL/SIL test automation frameworks, enabling continuous validation, regression, and CI/CD-based verification for infotainment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation frameworks for HIL/SIL validation
- Build and maintain tools using NI LabVIEW, TestStand, VeriStand, and Python
- Develop automation scripts to convert manual test cases into reusable automated tests
- Integrate with tools like Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, ASAM XIL interfaces, dSPACE/NI rigs
- Work on automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS)
- Develop data acquisition, signal processing, and logging mechanisms
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory) for continuous execution
- Implement REST/CLI integrations for triggering tests and reporting results
- Enhance test coverage, regression suites, and framework stability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support overnight test execution stability
- Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture guidelines
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in NI LabVIEW, TestStand, VeriStand (must-have)
- Hands-on expertise in Python automation scripting
- Practical experience in CAPL scripting (CANoe)
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, UDS protocols
- Experience with Vector tools (CANoe/CANalyzer)
- Strong experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, Git)
- Understanding of HIL/SIL/MIL environments
- Experience in Linux environments and automation workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Good to Have:
- Experience with dSPACE AutomationDesk, ControlDesk
- Knowledge of ASAM standards and Robot Framework
- Exposure to AUTOSAR Classic, ASPICE, ISO 26262
- Experience in data visualization dashboards and reporting tools
- Experience in JIRA/Xray and requirement traceability tools
