The UK IT Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for technology and IT roles across the UK market. This role involves partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements, sourcing and engaging candidates, conducting screening/interviews, managing the hiring process, and ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout.
Talent Sourcing & Screening
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
- Source candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Review CVs and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial screening calls and interviews (phone/video/in-person) to assess experience, skills, and cultural fit.
Recruitment Lifecycle Management
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from candidate outreach to offer and onboarding.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and communication between candidates and hiring teams.
- Maintain accurate records and candidate pipelines in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Negotiate job offers and facilitate the acceptance process
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience as an IT or technical recruiter (ideally within the UK market).
- Strong understanding of technology roles, IT job market trends, and recruitment best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency using ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and sourcing tools.
- Effective organisational and time management skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Knowledge of UK Recruitment
- Previous agency or high-volume recruitment experience.
