We are hiring an IT Support Engineer for our Bangalore location.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Alert Monitoring and Event Monitoring related to system / network / application;
- Ticket creation and ticket dispatching (+ follow-up);
- Gather and analyse logs;
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents based on SOP/procedures;
- Identify and analyse problems in order to help the identification of the root cause;
- Ensure that the solutions identified are formalized and documented (KB, ITSM, CMDB,...);
- Responsible for timely escalation of tickets to an appropriate level;
- Deliver productivity improvement and Incident / Event reduction;
- Identify repetitive tasks that could be automated;
- Participate in crisis call
Requirements
- At least one plus year of experience on the infrastructure / IT support / L1 support side.
- Able to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing;
- Can take ownership of multiple projects and deadlines;
- Able to prioritize workload based on criticality and business impact;
Work Arrangements:
- Onsite, rotational support role (standard office hours with occasional 24/7 standby support).
- Office Location: Marathahalli Ring Road, Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru.
