Role Description The Information Technology Support Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. In this role, you will provide first- and second-level technical support to internal teams and customers, resolving issues related to desktop computers, peripherals, and core IT systems. You will diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, log and track incidents, and escalate complex issues when required. Daily responsibilities include managing help desk tickets, installing and configuring systems, updating software, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will collaborate with other technical staff and vendors to ensure minimal downtime, support onboarding of new users, and contribute to continuous improvement of IT support processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills, including managing tickets and providing timely resolutions.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting desktop computers, operating systems, and common software and hardware issues.
  • Solid foundation in Information Technology concepts, including networks, security basics, and system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Desktop Computers, peripherals, and standard office IT environments.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, simple terms.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced support environment.
  • Relevant IT certification or diploma/degree (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience in IT support for distribution, retail, or technology integration businesses is an advantage.
