Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on, travel-ready IT Support Engineer (3-4 years of experience) to be stationed at our corporate office or prestigious client site in Banglore. You will be responsible for end-to-end IT operations—from endpoint management to datacentre upkeep and executive video conferencing. As part of your growth, you will actively scale up on various Bare Metal Virtualization suites.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Endpoint & Desktop Management

  • Provide hands-on imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting for laptops and desktops across both Windows and macOS environments.
  • Resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues to minimize user downtime.

2. Servers & Datacentre Infrastructure

  • Install, configure, and administer basic Windows Servers and Active Directory (L2 level)
  • Manage Bare Metal Virtualization suites and execute routine datacentre upkeep.

3. Network Devices & Connectivity

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Diagnose and resolve LAN and WAN connectivity issues as L2 level, follow-up with various dependency service providers.
  • (Ideally, candidates will have a valid Cisco CCNA Certification or equivalent practical knowledge).

4. Video Conferencing & Audio Visual

  • Directly deploy, test, and troubleshoot Cisco-based video conferencing systems and VoIP setups.
  • Assist executives and staff in setting up and testing scheduled meetings on WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 3 to 4 years of proven, hands-on IT support experience.
  • Location: Based in or willing to relocate/be positioned at customer sites across South India (Hyderabad, Bangalore, Vishakhapatnam, etc.).
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Datacentre operations.
  • Solid understanding of routing, switching, and Wi-Fi configurations.
  • Certifications: Cisco CCNA Certification (or equivalent practical LAN/WAN experience) is highly preferred.
  • Continuous Learning: Strong willingness and aptitude to scale up on modern Bare Metal Virtualization technologies (Nutanix or Microsoft HyperV or VMWare or Linux based Hypervisor etc and attain certifications).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent client-facing communication skills for handling prestigious customer sites and supporting executive VoIP/Video conferencing deployments.
