JOB Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced IT security specialist to drive new security initiatives and keep improving existing processes and systems to protect DP World against cyber threats.

Through close collaboration with IT infrastructure, IT support and business stakeholders the role will improve existing security measures and implement additional controls. Another critical part of the role is risk management activities, including risk assessments of vendors and systems as well as business impact assessments.

The role will collaborate with the global security and governance function to implement new policies, improve KPI and KRI reporting, support audit and compliance activities, and facilitate the resolution of findings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain the systems and applications inventory to improve business understanding, and assess business impact and risk to prioritize risk reduction effectively.
• Performing and coordinating systems and third-party risk assessments
• Managing and updating the risk register, ensuring risks are understood, owned, prioritized and mitigated accordingly.
• Supporting audit activities and coordinating resolution of any findings
• Delivering KPI and KRI reporting to global functions
• Managing projects to implement process and technical enhancements that strengthen security across business functions.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote risk awareness and a strong security culture

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT security role
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Business curiosity, seeks to understand stakeholder perspectives to provide useful insights while balancing regulatory and compliance requirements
• Clear communication skills, capable of asking the right questions and explaining security and risk concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills, able to assess complex systems or processes and identify both problems and solutions
• Structured and organized approach, comfortable managing multiple initiatives and deadlines while coordinating with stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude, willing to identify improvement opportunities and drive them forward
